The Hills have ears … and a Paralympian

Save the date for a very special meeting of the MS Hills Support Group, featuring free hearing tests and a speech from Australian Paralympian Katie Umback.

On Monday 21 November at the Castle Hill RSL Club, Ability Link NSW is offering Support Group members and their friends free hearing tests from 10am. This will be followed at 11am by a speech from the inspirational Katie, 43, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis aged 32 and recently fulfilled her dream of competing at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games in the Para-Equestrian Dressage.

Katie’s story not only involves her courageous battle to ride through her debilitating symptoms, but also a serious fall at age 18 in which she broke her neck. Don’t miss it!

At the conclusion you can join group members for lunch at your own expense.
