Fishing for all abilities

GoFish Nagambie is Australia’s richest and largest freshwater fishing tournament and outdoor lifestyle festival. In its second year, the festival will bring Australia’s favourite outdoor activity, fishing, to the forefront, and the best bit? MS is the official charity partner.
The event is fully accessible, which is one of the reasons why we're so excited to be involved. Held in Nagambie, Victoria during the second week of the school holidays from April 2 – 5, there’s plenty of time to get involved.
On Sunday April 5, the festival (which is completely free) will be holding their “Fishing for All Abilities Clinic” which welcomes anyone living with a disability to come and learn the basics of fishing.
Focused on creating a space for everyone to enjoy fishing, the clinic provides all the gear and will teach you how to cast a rod and catch and release fish. There’ll also be a chillout zone with colouring, books, craft and face painting.
The GoFish Festival Hub provides an inclusive a space for families to unwind and explore the retail expo, learn about fishing, enjoy heaps of family friendly entertainment and the region’s finest food and wine.
