What is it?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and My Aged Care are two major changes to how people in the community access support. The NDIS supports people under the age of 65, while My Aged Care is geared towards supporting people over 65.
We’re big believers in these social reforms that look to provide individualised support understanding everyone has unique circumstances. Thousands of people living with multiple sclerosis and other progressive neurological conditions are already accessing NDIS-funded support and services across Australia.
We're here to keep you informed, help you understand what it means for you and help you prepare for entry into these schemes. We also help to advocate alongside MS Australia as our national voice to ensure the needs of people living with multiple sclerosis are met with these reforms.
How do we provide this?
We also have several publications if you want to dive deeper into the background, tools to help you prepare for your conversation with the National Disability Insurance Agency, stories of those who are already participants of the scheme, and answers to your common questions.
How we can help you with the NDIS
We can help you understand and prepare for the NDIS as well as provide registered NDIS services to you.
We have over 3 years experience with the NDIS, having been a part of the trial sites when it launched and with over 60 years experience living well with multiple sclerosis and other progressive neurological diseases – so we can help you make the right decisions for you when it comes to the NDIS.
